Bio of Samantha LivingstonSamantha Livingston has a wide range of experience within the fields of accounting and tax preparation. After earning her C.P.A. license in 1995, Samantha worked for the public accounting firm of Price Waterhouse Coopers, formerly Coopers & Lybrand. In their audit department she gained knowledge of businesses across many industries, including retailers, manufacturers, and hospitals. She later entered the private sector to work for a real estate management company, Vestcor Equities, after which she held the position as Controller at Stellers Gallery. As a result of these positions she has been responsible for the total accounting function of a business, from payroll duties, inventory control, and financial statement reporting. Samantha started her own company in 1998 and has grown her practice to include tax preparation for individuals and small businesses, as well as financial accounting and consultation for business owners. She puts a high priority on accuracy and timeliness in the completion of tax returns and is happy to provide assistance in the areas of gift and estate tax, although her concentration is on individuals and corporations. Samantha graduated from the University of North Florida with a Master of Accountancy in 1996 after receiving her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting the previous year. She has a refreshing personality that defies the age-old stereotype of the “bean counter.” She has been told that her people skills make her a standout among others in her profession with the same technical skills. She prides herself on offering more personal attention than the typical tax preparer or accounting firm by maintaining personal contact with her clients and offering easy accessibility. The majority of her clients have been using her services for many years. During non-working hours Samantha enjoys spending time with her family.
